The Box SchemeWe only deliver to customers in our local area (see below) who have signed up to our service. We ask all new customers to register, (see the Registration page) to tell us which fruit and vegetables they like so that we can make sure we are filling their box with things they want to eat. We may be growing things that they haven't tried before, so we give people a "don't know" option. When it's in season, we'll include some for them to try and then they can tell us if they want us to include them in future or not. Customers also need to tell us what size of vegetable or fruit box that is appropriate to their weekly needs. Preferences can be changed at any time and the quantities supplied can be varied too. Each box is made up to match individual preferences and size needs and priced accordingly. If you would prefer, you can choose your own fruit and veg each week by using the "Your choice" facility provided on the web site. You need to send us your order 2 days before your delivery day to ensure we have time to respond to it. Your weekly bag will be filled with locally produced fruit and vegetables. Some of these are grown at Arcadia, or where the demand exceeds what we can grow, we supplement with other locally sourced produce - mainly from other farmers in Kent. You can find out what is available for inclusion in your weekly box on the Box Contents page of this web site. In addition to fruit and vegetables we also also supply other products that our customers have requested. These include - pies from Kentish Mayde, produced in Biddenden. The current range of pies (and prices) can be found on the pies page. Pies need to be ordered 3 days in advance of delivery day so that we can order and collect these. - free range eggs from our own hens at Arcadia. Eggs are available to those customers who commit to a weekly delivery. - pork from our own pigs reared at Arcadia - home-made produce, e.g. jams and chutneys, made at Arcadia - honey, from bees kept at Arcadia, owned by Kevin Smith in High Halden Each month we produce a Newssheet to tell you what is going on in our world. This provides information about the availability of Home Produce and meat. Ordering is simple, just let us know what you would like and we deliver it with your next weekly box. To keep payment simple, we ask our customers to make regular payments by cash, cheque or bank transfer. We do not use direct debit facilities. We ask customers to give us 7 days notice before they go on holiday, or don't need a delivery. Delivery daysDelivery is in the evening (after 4pm) and is free. We currently deliver to Ashford, Tenterden and the surrounding villages as outlined below. If you are not sure when or whether we deliver to your area, please call us to check. ASHFORD
